Over the past 3 years I have experienced so much. I have moved across the country..twice, have had three different job titles, met some of my lifelong best friends and continue to learn more about what makes me, well, me. This blog is a way for me to express myself, rejoice in the blessings God has provided me with and share life's genius successes and struggles.

While I may sound like I want to share all the beautiful offerings of life, I am doing it for selfish reasons as well. I have always been a very goal oriented person and usually do a good job about sticking to them, but sometimes life happens and you hit a few detours. While I love sharing knowledge and my life with others, I want this blog to be my guide to sticking to my goals. I’ve recently moved into a new role at work and in order to thrive, I want to become a better writer, read more and constantly have reasons to socialize with new people and about an array of topics. So let’s begin!

Little about myself:

Most important fact: there are two people in this world who are my reason for LIVING. They are no more than 50lbs combined, yet have managed to show me more about life than anyone I have ever encountered. I honestly am not sure how life was possible before them; I cannot imagine how obsessed I will be with my own kids (sorry in advance future children). Let me introduce my niece and nephew, Alyiah Lynn and Taytem Matthew. I could talk about them for days but I’ll digress.

I am a mid-twenty confused city girl with probably the best family and friends possible. Currently living in Venice Beach and working in Santa Monica, you could say I am spoiled with sunshine and ocean waves. Most of my friends will tell you what a nerd I am, and they're right. I spend a lot of my time on the computer (digital ad girl), working out, boxing (girls need to know how to fight, too), reading and am constantly obsessing over a new fun/healthy addition to add to my kitchen. My juicer is my best friend and I dream/obsess about owning a VitaMix.

Similar to a journal, I want to use this blog to document my life and share all the exciting and not-so-exciting adventures I stumble upon. In my blog you will find workouts, inspirational quotes/tips, book reviews, cooking endeavors, health obsessions, and random adventures.

I am not a nutritionist, trainer, chef, critic or author; I am your average blogger, living life with a passion to share it and hopefully inspire other along the way! Enjoy.
